This agricultural tool from the French company LEGER sas from France is a type of hoe that is used on vines. It loosens the soil and therefore works in a working environment that is very dirty and sometimes damp. However, these environmental conditions also caused problems for the moving parts. Heavy corrosion over time in combination with high forces led to excessive loads on the metal bearings initially used. The corrosion of the components led to high maintenance costs, so the manufacturer looked for a more suitable solution.
