Cleaning robot

You can implement many different applications with robots. For example, it is possible to efficiently automate cleaning in addition to positioning and pick & place. Our robot systems are precise and of constant quality. The high flexibility provided by our modular concept is what makes Low Cost Automation so universally applicable. Depending on the application, a customised solution can be created from the construction kit and supplemented with other products. In addition to conventional or waterproof igus® stepper motors, the robot joints can also be combined with other motors or pneumatic drives. The modular joint system is also not tied to a special control system and thus offers the greatest possible freedom in the planning and implementation of automation processes.

Cleaning application in metalworking

Components that are lubricated with cutting oil, e.g. are cleaned with spray water by the robolink DP for further processing. For this purpose, the robot carries a cleaning lance with it, which means that it can also clean narrow holes. The robolink DP is equipped with motors and gearboxes that are suitable for spray water.
  • Protection class IP 44 against splash water
  • Resistant to water and production chemicals
  • Reduction of manual and unpleasant processes
  • Low Cost Automation solutions for cost-effective cleaning processes

Deburring, grinding, polishing - as if by magic

Complex and expensive technology is sometimes not required to automate simple process steps cost-effectively and to relieve employees. The polishing robot from igus can be easily integrated and is characterised by manageable costs.
  • Can be used flexibly thanks to several axes
  • Scalable system
  • Increases occupational safety
  • Cost-effective integration and rapid amortisation

Cleaning application in aquariums

Automation can also be something for the home. Especially in saltwater aquariums, good lighting contributes to algae colonising the panes within a few days. To keep the aquarium looking neat and presentable, the viewing panels need to be cleaned every few days.
  • Automated cleaning
  • No manual steps needed
  • Can be used for many aquariums due to the flexibility of the linear robot
  • Maintenance-free and lubrication-free thanks to motion plastics
