All our lead screw nuts are made from wear-resistant iglidur® high-performance polymers.There are 7 different standard materials available for various applications: iglidur J - high efficiency at all speeds, iglidur J350 - for temperatures up to +150°C, iglidur A180 - FDA-compliant for the food-pharmaceutical industry, iglidur E7 - for high speeds at low loads, iglidur R - vibration and vibration-inhibiting, iglidur J200 - best counterpart to aluminium and iglidur W300 - for high-load applications.

The base material is additionally reinforced with technical fibres or fillers The solid lubricants are microscopic particles, embedded in millions in tiny chambers of the material. This is adequate to sufficiently lubricate the immediate surrounding area and reduce the friction of the system. These additives stabilise our lead screw nuts decisively for wear resistance.
