Switch cabinet integration for Universal Robots Thanks to the UR unit, robot control and programming is simple and intuitive, which makes it easy to get started with automation. Direct switch cabinet integration with URCap results in an easy and ready-to-connect solution. This allows the 7th axis to be moved in the URCap software within a very short time. Currently, solutions are possible with the following Universal Robots kinematics: UR3, UR5, UR10, UR16 and the e-series. A master control system is not necessary.
You can of course also use your own (robot) control system.
Alternatively, it is also possible to operate each axis individually with a control system. For example, with our igus® D1 dryve motor control system. With this control architecture, for each you need one motor control motor an additional master control system, which controls the coordination of the movement.The motor control systems are not part of the product and can be ordered from us as an option. igus does not offer a master control system at the moment.
